Sarah and Adrian’s Castle in The Clouds Wedding

Sarah and Adrian got married last September on a mountain-top castle located in the heart of the New Hampshire lakes region.

It sounds like a scene in a fairy tale and it may as well have been. There was beauty in every place I looked. The Castle in The Clouds in Moultonborough, New Hampshire has stonewalls contrasted by colorful architectural accents, lawns with fountains beautifully adorned with colorful flowers, incredible views of Lake Winnipesaukee that continue on for miles and miles, and the most important part of it all: a beautiful couple in love surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Sarah and Adrian got ready at the carriage house before taking a trolley up the mountain to the castle. The ceremony was held on the rear lawn that overlooks Lake Winnippesaukee. It was truly a breathtaking backdrop.

After taking some time to photograph Sarah and Adrian around the property, they drove back down to the carriage house in the family car: a ’66 Chevelle that Adrian and his father re-built. I loved the car, and loved the photos we were able to capture with it. One of them was recently featured in Super Chevy Magazine!

At the carriage house they had a very nice wedding reception. It was great to be able to document this very special day for this wonderful couple.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your day, Sarah and Adrian!

While Sarah prepared for her day I had the opportunity to capture this candid and beautiful portrait.

The carriage house and the castle had some great areas for portraits of the beautiful bride.

The boys didn't look too bad either.

Since the main building was a few minutes from the the carriage house, Sarah took a trolley ride up to the ceremony site.

As if the incredible landscape and views were not enough, The Castle In The Clouds also had great architectural features to photograph.
