I knew this wedding was going to be great. Not only had I met with Mike and Kaitlyn several times before their wedding day, I also had the opportunity to meet many of their friends and family last month at their friends Beth and Tim’s wedding. It was no surprise that the rainy day didn’t stop everyone from celebrating the love of two wonderful people.
They had a very nice ceremony at Our Lady of Czestochowas Church in Turners Falls, Massachusetts, followed by a super fun reception at Union Station in Northampton. It was so nice to see many of their friends and family I had met previously, and it truly was a pleasure to photograph their wedding day.
I love the energy that you can feel in the air in the moments
before a wedding ceremony begins.

That was such a fun and FANTASTIC wedding! Congrats Mikey and Kaitlyn!
Hi Steve, after your Quantum Trio purchase this spring, did you feel confident enough with quantum equipment to use it at weddings? did you use it in this one?
regards
another Quantum user, Luis
When using it on camera by itself, I found it a little slower to work with than my 580s. When used with an off camera Quantum, it was nice to be able to control the second light, but it did still freeze on my even after being serviced by Quantum. I’ve since switched to an Elinchrom Quadra as my off camera light, which I’ll be discussing more in an upcoming blog post.
