Hannah and Alex’s Fall Wedding in Keene, NH

Hannah looked radiant as she walked down the aisle alongside her father. She was glowing with happiness and anticipation to finally marry the love of her life, her high school sweetheart. The boy who once ordered she sweep the floors of their high school theater, unsuspecting of her feelings towards him. The boy who later asked her on a date, a first date that he planned meticulously and recreated detail by detail the day he asked her to marry him.

Hannah and Alex got married at the Monadnock Covenant Church in Keene. I could tell by the personalized tissues on the front row that it would be a heartfelt and emotional ceremony. And it was.

Their celebration continued at Hidden Hills in Rindge where candlelight and chandeliers set a romantic and elegant tone.

It was truly a special day to be a part of.

I loved all the sweet and quirky little anecdotes and details the officiant told about Hannah and Alex.

It was a cloudy and drizzly day for the most part, but when the time came for portraits, the weather cleared up just for them.

We even got a little bit of color during this early fall day!

They looked so happy and made my job way too easy.

Just as it was getting dark we were able to capture even more beautiful and romantic portraits of Hannah and Alex.

Moira and Paul’s Wedding

I had the great pleasure of photographing Moira and Paul’s wedding in Keene, NH this past Saturday. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Unitarian Universalist Church followed by outdoor portraits a few blocks away in Keene. I first met Moira when I photographed her daughter in preschool, and I was so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of Moira and Paul’s wedding day.

One of the best things about my job is the great people I get to work with, and although I only spent a few hours with Moira, Paul and their friends and family, they were all wonderful people to photograph and spend time with on this happy day.

Hannah & Alex’s Engagement Session

Here are a few highlights from a recent engagement session with Hannah and Alex. The location for the session was Surry Dam in Surry, NH. In addition to being one of my favorite places to hike and mountain bike, it also happens to be where Alex proposed to Hannah, so it had particular significance to Hannah and Alex.

I love doing winter engagement sessions. The low angle of the sun and the snow makes for such beautiful light. It was a little chilly, but we were able to find some sun and refuge from the wind on the dam. I really enjoyed spending time with Hannah and Alex and can’t wait for the wedding in October.

Danielle & Brian’s Wedding

New England can still hold on to some absolutely beautiful days in November, and Danielle and Brian had one of those days for their wedding this fall.

They had their ceremony at St. Bernard’s Church in my home town of Keene, NH with the reception just north of Keene at Alyson’s Orchard in Walpole, NH.

It was an amazing day with gorgeous weather, oustanding venues, and wonderful people. Here are some of the highlights.

Amanda and Matt’s Wedding

Amanda and Matt had a gorgeous late summer day for their wedding at Stonewall Farm in Keene, NH. Sunflowers, adorable children, loving family, great friends and an amazing setting were all part of the celebration of a beautiful couple in love. I was so happy to be able to capture memories of their day.

Kim and Craig’s Keene Wedding

I first met Kim and Craig over a year ago, and I knew right away their wedding was going to be a fun one to photograph. I had the opportunity to work with the two of them during their engagement session and also photographed Kim and her brother in the fall, so I got to know them well before the wedding.

They had a great day. Their ceremony and reception were at the Keene Country Club, and it was such a nice celebration of their love. There was a little bit of rain during the afternoon, but that didn’t stop us for getting fun group portraits on the front porch, and we were treated to clear skies for more outdoor portraits later in the afternoon.

Kim and Craig are such wonderful people, and there wedding definitely was a fun one to photograph!

I had the chance to photograph Kim and her brother as a gift for their mother last fall, and I was really excited to see one of the photos on the cuff links she gave her brother.

Bethany and Christopher’s Stonewall Farm Wedding

Bethany & Christopher had an amazing day for their wedding at Stonewall Farm in Keene. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony outside of the main building at the farm followed by a really fun reception in the Community Room. It was a great day full of love, celebration and some really good dancing!

Amanda & Matt’s Engagement Session

Here are a few photos from Amanda and Matt’s engagement session in Keene this weekend. We started out in and around Colony Mill Marketplace and then headed over to the Ashuelot River Park. As the weather forecast predicted, the day was “sunny and delightful.”

I enjoyed spending some time photographing and getting to know Matt and Amanda before their wedding at Stonewall Farm this August. I could see them relax in front of the camera as the session went on, and I think we got some great photos that really capture the two of them.

Kim and Craig’s Engagement Session

I had a sense I would really enjoy working with Kim and Craig from the moment I first met them, and that was feeling was confirmed during their engagement session this week. We had a welcome break from the rain here in New England, and for a change I actually had to hide from the sun a little during our morning session at the Keene Country Club. Their wedding will be there next year, so it was a good opportunity for the three of us to take a look at the photographic opportunities we would have.

We had lots of fun and laughs. This session got me really excited to be their wedding photographer.
